Los Angeles, California. Jan,2005 The photo was originally taken in the little town of Harmony, Nov. 2003. Up the coast route from Los Angeles about three and a half hour drive. Delightful small town with some huge eucalyptus trees. The initial image was taken of the ground covered with all of these fallen tree acorns. This collage peice, incorporating the photo, was created around the same time as 'City Dead Lilly' and 'Three Pretty Pink Flowers'. I wanted a companion peice for the other two. I think I was feeling a bit more comfortable thinking of body parts in weird places. Good therapy,uh. They are my wife's eyes, incidentally. No harm has come to her. RC
