'Elaborations on Simplicity': Architectural paradigms that reflect a delicate balance of two primary social activities governing realities of the urban, one a place to work, the other a place in which to express beliefs in the urban life lived. Additionally the classic balancing of ideas where the designer or artist struggle with this aesthetic parity between extravagance of elaboration vs. restraints of the austere. No where in the city are these concepts more visually impactful than where structures of: church-work, church-home or church and commerce are juxtaposed.
All materials, techniques and pigments used in producing this print are archivally in line with museum protocols. Print is frontally titled and signed with copyright. All measurments are from the image edges and do not include the generous griping border.
