Besides the many masters that have inspired the artist, he has been heavily influenced by his interest in Carl Jung and Jungian psychology. In “The Warrior”, the artist examines some of the artist’s own archetypal images. This piece is polystyrene sculptures with acrylic and lacquer overlay.
“When I work with polystyrene I use a hot wire that I have fashioned to sculpt the image. I love the challenge of this method because it is unforgiving and only gives the artist one chance to get it right”. -Robert H. Branham
