CLICK ON THE PIECE SUCCESSIVELY FOR PROGRESSIVELY LARGER IMAGES. One of a series of works inspired by Max Ernst's deeply disturbing and monumental, surreal/symbolist piece: 'The Clothing of the Bride.'(1940) This original is a strangely erotic work, itself inspired by the Symbolist aesthetic of Gustave Moreau. I have tried to match and mirror this in this piece.
