A moment of prayer to the great spirit. Kneeling under the wings of great eagel that is of the sky and also part of it. The eagle in Native Ameican cultures often represents the Great Thunderbird, who's spirit controls lightning and rain also punishment and reward. These powers can be shared by anyone who possesses a part of the bird. My love of realism and the southwestern themes offer great opportunites for creating paintings incorporating figurative images along with wildlife images.
