Seller Comments... This is a print of an Original painting created for the Commander of the 439th Airlift wing at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee, MA. The medium is acrylic. This Airbase specializes in Heavy lift transports using the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy as a means of providing humanitarian relief and military resupply. This Painting depicts one of these C-5A's Landings with all its landing lights on passing by a thunderstorm. I needed a dark background, but not a night scene so that the markings that make this a 439th cargo plane of the Patriot wing show up but at the same time show the lights that make this a dramatic shot.
