Both, contrast and variety of architecture first drew me to this scene. A realization of how considerate it was for MoMA to preserve and include this gothic view in its' new facilities became the focal point of this work. The diaphanous quality of the large windows in concert with the four lights within provide an interesting sense of direction to this composition. A mixing of color temperatures from differing light sources were part of the magnetism, of course the cropping is informed by the museum framing of gothic window.

All materials, techniques and pigments used in producing this print are archivally in line with museum protocols. Print is frontally titled and signed with copyright. Should you wish a different size or possibly a Giclee print (printed on a heavy watercolor paper substrate such as Arches) we may come to a reasonable pricing agreement. All measurments are from the image edges and do not include the generous griping border. Each print also include instructions for care and if followed will extend print-life so as to provide 100+ years of viewing pleasure. Buyer will pick-up actual shipping and insurance.
