One of a series of portraits of the great guitarist Eric Clapton who, after Hendrix, I consider to be the best post-Blues/rock guitarist of the 20th century. I am employing the term 'old master' both for the style of the piece (mixed with surrealism) and to denote Clapton's acknolwedged position as a master guitarist.
