details:

this piece was created specifically for the "Devocion" art show in 2006. it was in relation to skin art and was show, aptly enough, at Bombshell Tattoo Studio, alongside many other great artists whose work i admire. i am a big fan of art deco and i wanted to translate that here. although the photos here don't really translate that well, the colors are warm and muted, leaving the gold and skin tones to be the secondary focus after the bright cream colored moon.
