A real joy to create. I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Created with ArtMatic3.6 there were 12 overlapping layers parts of which were transparent. I used 3 displacement maps (3 of the 12 layers) which gave the piece a greater feeling of depth. I also used two photographs simultaneously which were warped into a very interesting texture almost like an ancient temple wall. The perameter which provided the "stringy look" (in the center) is not surprisingly called "Strings". The squares are links to 4 inch enlarged details viewable at art8tudio.com Gallery 4.
