This abstract composition is structured by the famous theorem of Pythagorus. There is a central triangle, with square adjacent to each edge. Pythagorus claims that the sum of the area of the two smaller squares is equal to the area of the larger square. embedded within the composition is an elegant, purely visual, proof of this fact. Mathematicians are guided by beauty. With this work I try to bridge a perceived gap between science and art, translating the beauty of mathematics into the form of art.
