The Salesman: Framed in a simple wood frame this bas relief / sculpture-painting is complete with sturdy backing and ready to be hung in the room on any of any home, office or hotel lobby. The figurative image was sculpted into fiberboard, finished in color and then glossed over. The work was completed in 1987 - and still holding up as though it had been completed this year. This is perhaps the best of the sculpture-paintings series created so far by artist Edward Longo.
