The original mixed media on canvas painting was made from an existing "furniture store painting" of a mighty sailing ship on the sea with sails full blown by the wind. I took the "furniture store painting", and obliterated the images with paint, glue, and wax, leaving pertinent remnants of the original visible to the eye. I shifted the images around to come up with what I then called "The Ten Commandments.
The painting was made with acrylic, house paint, spray paint, wax, glue, photo collage.
