Excellent condition. Good Margins - a little shallow at the bottom (varying from 7/16" to 11/16"). Printed on extremely fine tissue. Monogrammed in the block, lower right, HMD (Harold Mallette Dean).
A beautiful depiction of San Francisco's Fort Point, positioned under the southern end of the Golden Gate Bridge, as viewed from the ocean side of the bridge. The bridge soars above. Though the edition size of this print was not small, 150, it has become somewhat scarce - possibly due to the papers light weight and susceptibility to damage. Print published by the San Francisco Chronicle as part of their 1940 contemporary graphics program.
