"Bell of Knowledge" by Dot Chauvin

Original Watercolor, 5x7 matted and framed size 12x16. This piece reminisces of the old school days when the teacher rang the bell. In the mat is a hand cut a old hand bell which the teachers would ring to alert the children school was in session. The mat with the hard cut bell has bluebonnets painted in the open small opening with the borders on the mat hand painted of shades of blues and gilded gold to match the frame. Scripture Psalms 129:133. All my painting are signed and accompanied by a scripture, as this is where my inspirations come from. I welcome commissions as I thoroughly enjoy creating that special painting from what you want, have seen or that old home place that is no longer there.
