"This is the Day" is a museum quality signed/numbered of 300 prints. The artwork was commissioned for a Louisiana Festival. The scene depicts some of activity that goes on around the family orientated heritage of the Cajun people. This is life as I have seen it in the past with my husband’s family. Everyone busy and productive; but with that coffee pot always on the store, ready to welcome any visitor or take a break. An reason to have a get together and everyone would be there, old and young ready to have some gumbo and a good time. As in life and in the print a fish jumping, a squirrel in the tree, a gator in the water....vibrant with life. The prints remaining for sale are 40 with letters and 90 without letters. There was a total of 300 w/l and 300 wo/l. So the supply is limited on this print.
Psalms 118:24, is the scripture on the pieces, as all are signed and below my name is a scripture, as this is the origin of my inspirations. I welcome commissions as I thoroughly enjoy creating that special painting from what you want, have seen or that old home place that is no longer there.
