Here's another in my one of a kind series of very large briolettes, in gold leaf settings, strung on pearls. This one is a lightly colored ametrine briolette which is approximately 80 ct. I like these lightly colored briolettes because you can really see the wonderful facets and clarity. The briolette is set in 14k gold leaves, and hangs from a silver bead which I've covered with more 14k leaves. The only parts of this piece that are silver, are the bead and the wire that goes through the center of the bead. There's also a tiny piece of silver tubing holding the pendant, that's strung onto the pearl necklace. The entire pendant from top to bottom is 3 1/4" long and about 3/4" at it's widest points. The pendant hangs on an 18" hand knotted fresh water pearl necklace, with a handmade 14k gold clasp. The pearls are very fat and have a lovely surface shimmer. I think the clasp is very pretty and feminine. This is a sexy and romantic necklace. I didn't have much room for engraving, but it does have my initials and #1 as there is one only.
