Seller Comments... Bashful Brown-eyed Virgin: This acrylic painting was executed on gypsom board using stacatto brush strokes. The artist selectively chose brown tones in order to get the intended effect of shyness as well as the young girl's innocence. Although the artist allowed the oils to blend paint thinner was never used. This painting has been framed in an elaborate, recessed opening with the glass fixed into the white 2" x 2" wood frame. The color red along the inside of the frame separated the glass from the actual painting, alowing the proper effect indicating a passionate virgin.
