Thinly painted canvas, done in burnt umber, black, ocher yellow, white, light blue and touch of red of a female figure in seated position twisted to look away from viewer/back to viewer. A hatch work of black lines to denote windows and shelving walls. Abstract-figurative. You can see the yellow-brown door she looks at over her left shoulder. Worked from imagination on this; maybe a few preliminary sketches in charcoal. It's claustrophobia and openness (in the flood of light through the windows) both vying for control. As is. Signed as always --after first 2 years anyway-- on back.
