This print is of an original done in honor of a girl's school in Liberia. the message I wanted to convey thru this image is the beauty of the rose rising above the thorns and hardship. To me it repesents the school girls growing up in a harsh environment but the sensitivity and beauty in each one can rise above and florish in this school built to provide a refuge and a future for them.
