"MOUNT EVEREST - The 29000 Foot Mountain of Ever Unrest"

Although this original acrylic painting on canvas was created during July 1990 it has never been exhibited anywhere until being placed online during June 2007.

This dramatic mountainous work of art is representative of the highest mountain on earth, rising upwards to over 29000 feet above sea level. More than likely, if one were to focus long and hard, the probability of feeling the trials and tribulations of past mountain climbers could trigger certain emotions relative to their many plights, challenges, and acts of heroism.

RECENT TESTIMONIAL: "The work, "Mount Everest 29000", when i first layed eyes on it stirred up deep emotions within me that gave my whole being and soul the impression i was actually experiencing the past struggle, perserverance, and sheer courage of the many climbers who have tackled this great mountain. I believe Edwrad Longo has taken all those powerful emotions and the spirit of this majestic wonder of nature and somehow channeled it into this painting. The raw power, beauty, and peril of trying to climb this magnificent mountain really penetrated my soul and left me gasping for air as my heart increased and i felt as if i were actually walking toward it preparing to climb it. All the fears, excitement, and spirit overwhelmed my senses throughout my whole body and what makes this work one of the best i have ever experienced about Everest in art form. Mr. Longo is a great artist who is destined for a huge legacy with his powerful and spiritual command of the essence of the subject he creates."
