One of a series of impressionist studies of Bath, in this case and early morning autumn panorama from the southern hills close to the Kennet & Avon Canal looking north across the Georgian and medieval city centre. The square towered Bath Abbey (1499-1533) is centre left and above and behind it is the magnificant Royal Crescent. The end of the beautiful Somerset/Lansdown double Crescent is just visible on the hill on the upper right hand side. [CLICK ON THE IMAGES FOR LARGER FORMAT VERSIONS]
