Salmon Skies refers to that subtle pink-orange color of the sky after the more blazing colors have faded somewhat, that glow of twilight which calls to mind the luscious color of salmon, the flavor that delights us for a moment, and stays in our favorite memories. Even the blues and greens of the ocean are subdued by its warmth.
Seastacks are the islands of the coastline that have eroded from the mainland through time. They represent to me the peace and tranquility of being alone with nature, but also the memory of being joined to loved ones. As John Donne put it, "No man is an island..."
