The Sacred Heart: Created in July 2007, this image of the heart is known as The Sacred Heart of Jesus, sometimes associated with The Immaculate Heart of Mary. This spiritual painting was created by preparing the canvas and by brushing acrylics in liquid form. Squeezing acrylics straight from the tube completed this fine art painting. The idea came to Longo after learning the viewpoints of leading physicists and their insights on string theory. Through Nova's The Elegant Universe much was learned about Einstein's quantum theory, electromagnetism, and the weak and strong nuclear forces. This microcscopic theory of gravity has been called the "Theory of Everything."

Through this series of paintings the artist has managed to capture the expression of those mysterious forces in a certain spiritual, or psychic means of making "Everything" visible. Visit website by Edward Longo www.edwardlongo.com
