WINSLOW HOMER "A Voice from the Cliffs"
Medium: etching. Etched by James D. Smillie after Winslow Homer, and signed in pencil by Smillie.
Executed in 1866, this beautiful impression on Japan paper has that special luminous, haunting quality of etchings printed on Japan paper, and was issued in a much smaller edition than the standard edition on laid paper. Size: 6 3/4 x 10 inches inches; there is the remains of old tape in the margins (but it doesn't affect the image, which is clean and bright).
This is a rich, dark impression-- printed in black ink, rather than the usual sepia ink.
RETURN POLICY: If a print is not as described, it may be returned for a refund (within 7 days of receipt)
