The naginata was a traditional Japanese weapon commonly used in battle to dismount a rider from his horse. This handmade piece has been constructed with such craftsmanship that it could withstand actual battle. The blade is 5 cm (2 Inches) in width at its widest point and 23 cm (9 Inches) long, made from hand crafted plate steel. The date of completion and signature of authenticity from the artist are inscribed into the blade.
Note: This is a custom piece which can be made at the artist’s availability and requests may be submitted for personal inscriptions or specifications, ie blade length, pole length, etc... The photo displayed will not be the actual Naginata sent. No Naginata will be sent with sharpened blades. Please e-mail before you purchase this item for custom specification.
