The lid has 3 panels {2-routed wood & 1-Light Copper Red Ripple stained glass on the outside.} All 3 panels on the inside are wood and are routed.
Has a lift out tray {6 3/8" x 10 3/8" x 1 3/4"} with partitions making several 1 1/2 inch deep compartments. The compartment underneath the tray is unpartitioned. Tray and box bottom are lined with Ruby Red velvet.
Has 2-polished solid brass 95 degree stop hinges, 3-14kt gold plated knobs {1 on the lid, 2 on the tray.}
I apply 3 finish coats of clear marine grade polyurethane spar varnish that is impervious to most liquids including body oils and some mild acids.
