Seller Comments... This painting is one of many which reveals Louise’s deep adoration for her home province Quebec, its landscape and inhabitants. In it she captures the characteristics of all off the elements unique to this countryside. It is detailed and precise .Painted in a palette of tones mostly associated with artists painting of the past –deep golds, subtle violets, raw sienna-it is true even still to the Quebec landscape itself. This painting is warm and inviting and one which the observer can enjoy viewing time and time again.
