'Snow Hill': Beside the more obvious utility of the water tower, these rural monuments are the visual landmarks, guiding human traffic back to familiar communities and hamlets and beckoning newcomers toward specific destinations throughout the vast small-town America. Founded by the English (1642), Snow Hill, Maryland, while retaining a relaxed lifestyle, is never-the-less a forward looking community, as evidenced by the granting of special dispensation by the City Fathers to its' artistic/cultural communities. This view was within eye-shot of the gallery (Adcock Studios and Fine Arts), my last venue of exhibition.
