'Twin Peaks, Manhattan': The warm evening light embrace two structures at opposite ends of the scale, one highly reveared and the other which garner little if any attention when it comes to N.Y.C. architecture. I believe there is much to be considered of such contrast, though the Empire State Building is thought to be of such importance, consider what the water tower contain. Now subtract it from the human equation and I dare say that the humanity of this metropolis simply could not be. While, today, the ferocity of war over oil resources continually shake our world, it is over water that man will be refocusing said ferocity against his fellow beings of tomorrow. The importance of this lowly structure now melt away all such consideration previously afforded the great Empire State structure.
