Pencil Signed and numbered in the lower right hand corner, #50/75. This lithograph. Measures 20 x 26 inches, and is in absolutely mint condition. This piece has never been framed or mounted. Signature Carzou was born in Aleppo (Syria), 1907. In 1918 moved to Egypt, in 1924 to Paris. Has reseived his artistic training in the state school of Architecture and in the Academy of Grande Shomierre. Since 1930 permanent participant of numerous exhibitions. In 1954 Carzou was awarded a Prize llle de France, a year lateer. Grande Prize on the International exhibit in Tokyo. In 1956 was awarded the Legion d Honneur. In 1958 knight of art literature. In 1979 member of French Academy of Art. Lives in Paris.
