This image titled “Pierrot’s Funeral” is from a portfolio of twenty works of art originally created by Matisse from his cut-outs (decoupages) and collages series towards the end of his life. This lithography was redrawn and printed on the presses of Art-Lithographies in Paris with the authorization and under the supervision of Monsieur Georges Matisse, representing the Estate of Henri Matisse.
The edition is limited to two hundred copies, numbered 1 to 200 and to twenty artist proofs marked HC and numbered 1 to 20. Printed in Paris in 2006.
