A priest-like figure waits behind arched walls and by a tower in a dream-like and surreal scene which is directly inspired by the early architectural and cityscape works of de Chiraco. This piece is derived from a photograph of my first large arcylic painting, (1982) and was donated to the department of politics at Sheffield University in 1986.
