Seller Comments... Oil on board31.5x47in, 80x120cm The artist creates a piece that is full of contrast. The vibrant green and yellow leaves are defined, outlined in black. They nearly jump off the canvas and give life to the rest of the scene which is otherwise barren and lonely, a mood created by the artist’s use of deep colours and sporadic spacing. Behind the defined and detailed foreground lies a landscape that is vague and mysterious. This contrast keeps the eyes of the onlooker busy.
