‘Identity & Control - Boxes of Ft. Tilden, NY’: The ideas at work here are clearly defined, though a feebly boxed-in missile seem to be a “tongue-in-cheek” reference to wishes of putting the technologic toothpaste back in the tube via containment policies…while also rendering a box for the human result if such technology were used. As the missile unapologetically pierce the sky-plane of the image, so the image pierce limitations of the picture frame. A relevant extension and restating of the formal and visual concepts into what is typically thought of as an emptyness of space. A parody on the 'foot-in-mouth' era of the Cold War. At times a frustration with limiting factors of the 'picture' frame foster a desire to see and do beyond such boxes.

All materials, techniques and pigments used in producing this print are archival and in line with museum protocols. Print is frontally titled and signed with copyright. Should you wish a different size or possibly a Giclee print (printed on a heavy watercolor paper substrate such as Arches) we may come to a reasonable pricing agreement. All measurements are from the image edges and do not include the generous griping border. Each print also include instructions for care and if followed will extend print-life so as to provide 100+ years of viewing pleasure. Buyer will pick-up actual shipping and insurance. By your purchase of this work you agree to abide by all copyright statutes as pertain to this work.
