Seller Comments...
This is the first in the subcatagory of "Pride" in the "Man's Nature" Series. The full title is "Man's Nature - Pride: Display-I".

Pride moves man to try to "Display" Nature. In effect, Man tries to take credit for the beauty and the bounty of Nature. He may even try to "improve" on Nature. The results are mixed at best.
The stone is of the same type used in the entire "Man's Nature" series. This type of stone is really ancient coral. The holes are naturally-occuring.
The Steel Frame was forged and welded as a unit. Unlike "Possess - I" and "Control - I", the Frame was given a smooth texture. Each of the legs was engraved with its "Trait". The Title ("Display - I") and Copyright were engraved on the "Pride" leg. Then, the steel was sandblasted, tempered with the torch and given an oil finish.

The "Man's Nature" Series highlights not only Man's mishandling of the Ecology, but also the temporal nature and ultimate vanity of Man's attempts to manipulate the Environment. In the end, unless God steps in, Man will not be the last one standing.
