What do we create when we go back to our source? Whether at the core of our spirit or in the memories of childhood, we will find our dreams waiting for us.

The Return is the latest in my Merman Series, and is inspired by Japanese master Katsushika Hokusai's prints of waterfalls and the symbolic landscape of myth and imagination. The raw force of the cataract and the sensuality of the determined merman make this a passionate image that invites the viewer to step into the waters--and climb. The journey is for everyone.
