In 1949-1950, soon after the establishment of the People's Republic of China, Chairman Mao Zedong had ordered the 'liberation' of Tibet by the People's Liberation Army. In 1959, the Dalai Lama fled to India. This design represents the opinion, that Tibet should be an independent state and free of Chinese domination !
