"Availability/Prices subject to change. MAKE AN OFFER" SIMON CLARIDGE This piece is probably the most abstract I have ever painted, yet it is loaded with sexuality. There is however very little explicitly painted on the canvas. The power it has comes from our interpretation not of what has been painted but more importantly what has been left out through severe cropping and editing. A collector looking at the piece had a fantastic analogy; it is like a sentence constructed with the omission of certain vowels, the human brain can automatically fill in all the gaps and make sense of it.
