The inspiration for this piece was a photo I took of a boy at a party. He was bathed in glorious sunlight streaming through window high on the wall. The boy stuffed the sandwich in his mouth oblivious to everything else, me the sunlight, the camera, and the rest of the kids. Something about this young kid wearing a wrist watch and a sweater chomping on a sandwich made me want to do this piece.
