The Roman Bronze Works cast the original of this Frederick Remington item in 1910. Titled The Stampede, it was the last sculpture Remington finished.
Also called "Caught in the Stampede", it was originally cast 22 5/8 inches high. A single cowboy is swept along with a surging herd of cattle stampeding across the prairie. This Frederic Remington reproduction is one of the finest examples of our western heritage art from our western bronze sculptures collection.
