'Dark Angel of Laissez-Faire' 08: Considering symbolic meanings of a dark angel (one that portend future change) and the color gold (particularly in
bar form), to take an economic slant to this image would be appropriate. Un-stable and unsustainable are adjectives that equally describe the world of economics as a slog through such times proceed. What governments and economic leaders know is that times of a market with minimal regulation is quickly becoming a thing of the past. The Wall Street crowd, meanwhile are simply continuing to skirt what laws there are as fast and furiously as possible in service to their bottom line before these regulations, that are surely coming, gain form and function. Question is, will Main Street allow the financial lobbyists of K Street to continue to obfuscate this process to advantage Wall Street profits?
