This painting, completed during February 2008, is the first of the artist's Angel Feather Series. Perhaps more emotionally spiritual than some of his other works it has become the inspiration for completing the series. This painting stands out from others in that it has a way of compelling the viewer to touch the whispy-like, angel feathers. Through a complex mixture of cement and acrylics applied to canvas in a winding series of ribs and cross-sections it all comes together to complete the mystique. Visit www.edwardlongo.us.
