A sea gull performed a long and elaborate preening ritual in a tidal puddle, not ten feet from me. His movements made me laugh, as he ruffled his feathers and shook and stomped in what appeared to be almost a dance. Image c Lynda Lehmann. Archival 8 x 10 print matted, acid-free, to 11 x 14 inches.
