This work is an other variation about the topic WOMAN
True to my principle never to paint what I "know", but what I see with my "Eyes wide shut", I agree to the New York critic Dominique Nahas, who wrote about my work in his essay, titeled "Complex Beauty" the painting of Reinhard Gade:
"When he paints subjects, objects or situations his deep connection with a vision of autonomous beauty tinged by malevolence seem evident. His unusual painter's touch and the glow that emanates from his work induce not only specific images but also an entire atmospheric world. When we get immersed in that world's voluptuous conditions it takes on an unearthly yet mesmerizing aspect. Whatever sense of alien majesty we see and sense in his work is matched by an undertone of dark uncanniness".
