In this plein air landscape piece I wanted to capture the feeling that everything, the trees, clouds, grass, flowers, was in motion, as indeed it was. I found this scene in an ordinary field beside the hotel where I was staying in Taos. It really is proof that an exciting painting can be found almost anywhere if only one looks!
