Martynas is a painter who belongs to the younger generation of Lithuanian artists. He devotes himself to experiments with the possibilities offered by the postmodern art.
Martynas bravely uses the graffiti tradition combined with other techniques. He is not scared to try out almost photographical precision or animation figures hand in hand with a pure abstraction creating a perfect harmony instead of a chaos.
One of artist's favourite themes is the one reflecting upon the Muse - source and "dealer" of inspiration embodied in a form of a woman. It seems that, being so intellectual, daring and possessing a fine feeling of esthetic values (resulting in a fragile sense of decorativism), Martynas deserves the benevolence of the Muse.
