If you have a really, really good map of Missouri, you may find a place on it called Pierpont. It isn't much. This quick stop is a throw back to a time when live was much simpler. It kind of reminds me of the novel, The Great Gatsby. The locale is rural, a few old farms and some houses. It is way out in the country south of Columbia, Missouri, a nice spot to visit, fill up with gas and have an old fashioned cold bottle of Coke. The painting is water color painted on 400 series Strathmore WC paper, CP, 11 x 15 inches. It was painted with Winsor & Newton WC paint from a reference photo of my own.
