This is such a strangely expressive, powerful and almost 'mystical' face. I created this painting subconsciously - it felt as if the painting just created itself. The oracle captures you with her gaze and makes you feel as if you were looking inside yourself.
It is a very striking painting/drawing in ink, acrylic paint and gold paint on paper. The ink brush drawing is spontaneous and raw and very expressive. The acrylic paint is bright and vibrant and gives the painting texture. The heavy weight paper shows through in many places providing additional texture and interest. This painting is on paper so you will have to have it framed (it is sold without a frame).
