Completed during 1969 this spiritual painting is representational of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and His Ascension. Painted on a one-inch thick wood panel using acrylic colors combined with cement it has become a religious relic, a rare, classic icon. The size of the painting is about 9.5 x 5.5 inches.

A NOTE about the SPIRITUAL POWER of HIS CRUCIFIXION:
In addition to being an artist and a writer I have been making a comeback as a movie / TV actor. After selecting a monologue for class I began to study the role of Mr. Davidson, a minister from the story "RAIN" by Somerset Maugham. I swear: As I was reading the story I was interrupted by a sharp thump on the floor behind me. However, I didn't bother looking until I finished reading about the character. When I got up to see what the noise was all about I was blown away by what had transpired. On the floor was one of my drawings framed in glass. What held me in such amazement was that my painting, "His Crucifixion," was knocked off its shelf by the drawing framed in glass, which had been hanging on the wall above it for many months. The drawing hung three feet above the painting, and at such a distance away it had not fallen on it directly, but by hitting 3 other items off to the side three feet away . Even stranger, was that the drawing encased in glass did not break after having hit the floor from its perch at a height of 8 feet. . . The third image is the photograph I had taken after replacing the items in their original place. . . .

PS: The reason for explaining all this is that I took this message as a spiritual sign and played the role using the painting as a prop - which truly impressed the director.
